Embrace the summer weather and enjoy some fun events happening in the Seacoast. If you can't take the heat, we've also included some indoor activities to keep you cool. Here are Macaroni KID Seacoast's picks for five things to do with your family this week. 

1. Rock & Bowl






Visit Bowl-O-Rama in Portsmouth for two hours of unlimited cosmic bowling. (Jul 12 & 13, 6 pm - close)


2. American Independence Festival






Celebrate America's independence on the anniversary of the arrival of the Declaration of Independence to New Hampshire at the American Independence Museum in Exeter. (Jul 13, 10 pm - 4 pm)


3. DIY Crafts and Family Fun






Take the family to Board and Brush Portsmouth for a fun DIY workshop to create your own masterpiece. (Jul 12 & 17, 10 am - 12 pm)


4. Portsmouth Recreation Summer Concert Series



Enjoy music from Portsmouth Music and Arts Center's Summer Community Band at Portsmouth Recreation's Community Campus. (Jul 17, 6 pm)


5. Thursday Night Food Trucks






Skip the cooking and head to Stratham Hill Park for dinner. This weekly event, hosted by Stratham Parks and Recreation, includes choices from several food trucks and live music. (Jul 18, 4 pm - 8 pm)
